This course prepares students for success on the BPI Building Science Principles Certificate of Knowledge examination. |

This course prepares students to integrate all elements of the Energy Audit Process, data collection and recommendations for improvements to develop a scope of work, understand how to execute the project, and verify that all work has been completed with an emphasis on ensuring quality in completed work. Students will also be prepared for success on the BPI Crew Leader certification examination which is supported by the US Department of Energy and its National Renewable Energy Laboratory. |

Students can take this concurrently with the prerequisites with instructor approval. This course prepares students to become a quality control inspector with the skills to ensure the completion, appropriateness and quality of residential home energy upgrade work through use of methodological inspection of the building including performing safety and diagnostic tests and observing work performed. The course also prepares students for success on the BPI Home Energy Auditor Quality Control Inspection Certification examination. |
